Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Kudory (the "Service"), operated by Achraf Beniasaad (contact: hello@kudory.com). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

Kudory lets you keep one career profile, tailor it to a specific job description, and download the result as a PDF CV or cover letter. The tailoring is assisted by an AI model that is restricted to selecting, reordering, and rephrasing content you have already provided. It is designed not to invent facts about you. See the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.

2. Your account

• You need an account to save a profile and download files. You must be at least 16 years old.
• You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure.
• One person, one account. Do not share your account with others.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in Settings.

3. Your content stays yours

You keep all rights to the CV content you provide. You grant us only the limited licence needed to run the Service for you: to store your content, render it into documents, and send the relevant text to our AI processor so the feature you asked for can work. We do not use your CV content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.

4. You are responsible for what your CV says

This is the important one. The Service helps you present your own experience — it does not verify it. You must read every document before you send it to an employer and make sure it is accurate and complete. AI-assisted rewording can change emphasis or shorten detail. If a generated document misstates your experience, that is yours to correct before it goes out. We are not responsible for the content of any CV, cover letter, or application you submit.

5. No promise of a job

We make no guarantee about interviews, applicant-tracking-system compatibility, recruiter response, or employment outcomes. Match scores and job-fit analysis are informational estimates, not predictions.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content about a person other than yourself without their permission.
• Use the Service to create knowingly false or misleading credentials.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, scrape the Service, or automate bulk access.
• Upload malware, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Resell the Service or use it to operate a competing service.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these rules.

7. Availability — the Service is free and provided as-is

Kudory is currently offered free of charge and is under active development. There is no service-level agreement: it may be unavailable, change, or be discontinued at any time, and features may be added or removed. Keep your own copies of anything important. If we ever discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and where liability is mandatory under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation (a duty whose fulfilment makes proper performance possible and on which you may reasonably rely), and then only for foreseeable damage typical of this kind of contract. All other liability is excluded. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings there.

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
